Women Forum/ Internal Complaints Committee (ICC): Objective:

 To provide a neutral, confidential, and supportive environment for teaching and non-teaching women employees and students on the campus. 

  • To advise complainants of means of resolution as specified by the legislation. 
  • To ensure fair and timely resolution of sexual harassment complaints.
  • To promote awareness about sexual harassment amongst students of both genders through educational initiatives that encourage and foster a respectful and safe campus environment. Frequency of Committee Meetings: Twice in an academic year. IQAC reporting member: Dr.  Seema Nahid Responsibilities and Functions: 
  • To organize workshops affecting women in general and especially in the following areas.
  • Sensitization and gender equality on campuses. 
  • Issues of women arising from societal concerns. 
  • Any other theme-based activities and events concerning significant issues of women.
  • A separate email ID for the ICC has to be created and the convener/principal may hold the password. • To ensure the fair and timely resolution of sexual harassment complaints. 
  • To ensure that students, faculty, and staff are provided with current and comprehensive materials on sexual harassment and assault.
  • To provide for dialogue, discussion, and deliberation on women’s rights and gender-related issues. 
  • To promote awareness about sexual harassment through educational initiatives that encourage and foster a respectful and safe campus environment.
