Curricular and Extracurricular Activities cell Objective:

  • To gain knowledge apart from classroom teaching, our students should get knowledge enriched from the various co-curricular activities.
  • The primary objective of extracurricular activities focuses on the individual student level, the institutional level, and the broader community level. Frequency of Committee Meetings: Four times in an academic year. IQAC reporting members: 

Responsibilities and Functions:

  • To encourage all departments to conduct seminars, guest lectures, workshops, field visits, group discussions, competitions, Book Reviews, and conferences. 
  • To help students participate in professional society activities like quizzes, and debates.
  • To motivate students to participate in various inter-collegiate competitions. 
  • To encourage students to register for courses with SWAYAM, NPTEL, MOOC, and other online platforms. 
  • To encourage all departments to participate in NSS, sports, volunteer activities like blood donation camp, role play, street plays, etc. 
  • To form various clubs like Math Club, Environment Club, Literary Club, Go Green campaign, Anti Narcotic cell/campaign, etc. 
  • To conduct programs and celebrate various national and international commemorative days and events by organizing lectures, guidance talks, quizzes, discussions, visits, etc.
  • To collect the details/documents from the department about co-curricular and extra-curricular activities organized by the committee or department and send the soft copy and hard copy to the Principal and IQAC for filing the records.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell Objective:

The purpose of this cell is to support the students to transform their innovative ideas into new products and to envisage the direction, objectives, means,  methods, and practices of the teaching-learning environment. 

  • To assist all the aspirants with mentoring, planning, and execution of their start-up idea into a real business.
  • To arrange visits to industries for prospective entrepreneurs. Frequency of Committee Meetings: Twice in an academic year. IQAC reporting member: ,.,.,.,.,Responsibilities and Functions: 
  • To create strategic partnerships with various reputed organizations working to promote innovation. 
  • To ensure department-level execution of the IEDC activities and motivate students to participate in them.
  • To organize activities such as training camps, awareness campaigns, etc. in coordination with other committees. 
  • To provide infrastructure facilities and technical support for the incubation of the ideas. 
  • To develop and encourage interdisciplinary student and staff projects. 
  • To arrange visits to industries for prospective entrepreneurs.
  • To conduct skill development training programs leading to self/wage employment. 
  • To organize Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps, Entrepreneurship Development Programmes, and Faculty Development Programmes.
