Discipline Committee Objective

  • To sensitize the students about the importance and relevance of discipline in one’s life. 
  • To play a vital role in fostering a conducive environment for learning, growth, and professionalism by ensuring that rules are followed, conflicts are managed, and behavioral standards are upheld within the organization. Frequency of Committee Meetings: Four times in an academic year. IQAC reporting member: Dr.Chavan V.B Responsibilities and Functions: 
  • Enforcing established codes of conduct, rules, and regulations within the organization to maintain a structured environment. 
  • Investigating reported incidents of misconduct, violations, or behavioral issues involving students, staff, or members of the organization.
  • Communicating disciplinary actions, decisions, and outcomes to the parties involved, ensuring transparency and clarity. 
  • Offering guidance, counseling, and support to individuals involved in disciplinary cases, to promote personal growth and behavior improvement.
  • Developing and implementing preventive strategies and awareness programs to foster a positive atmosphere and discourage rule violations. 
  • Maintaining accurate records of disciplinary cases, actions taken, and outcomes for future reference and reporting. 
  • Providing regular reports on disciplinary cases, trends, and preventive measures to higher authorities or relevant bodies within the organization.
  • Striving to create a supportive and respectful environment where members feel safe, valued, and motivated to uphold the organization’s standards. 
  • Coordinating with other committees or departments to address disciplinary issues that intersect with other areas, such as academics, student affairs, or human resources.
