Campus Maintenance and Development Committee Objective:

  • To provide fundamental facilities for students and staff in our institution. 
  • Utilize existing space, particularly classrooms, Seminar halls, board rooms, and video conferencing halls more closely within reasonable standards and guidelines. Frequency of Committee Meetings: Two times in an academic year. IQAC reporting members: Dr. V B Chavan  Responsibilities and Functions: 
  • Create a checklist, rules, and regulations to maintain classrooms, seminar halls, labs, and auditoriums to maintain campus infrastructure. 
  • Design and fix the master plan of our Institution which should be displayed at the entrance.
  • Providing fire safety mechanisms, and drawing assembling points during fire safety. 
  • Providing sign boards, displaying quality policies, vision, mission, suggestion boxes, milestone boards, first aid boxes, and staff name list boards for each department.
  • To maintain the college campus clean and healthy by ensuring dry and wet cleaning in periodic intervals in classrooms, seminar halls, washrooms, and restrooms. 
  • Maintaining gardens and lawns on the campus by using efficient garden and landscape maintenance equipment. 
  • Ensure an adequate supply of parking to meet the academic mission of the campus, locate and configure spaces to ease student schedules and needs, minimize conflicts between vehicles and pedestrians, and support other goals about both land use and space. 
  • To organize various activities related to campus maintenance and conduct energy audits. •

 To monitor water conservation facilities on the campus like rainwater harvesting, wastewater recycling, and maintenance of water bodies and distribution systems on the campus. 

  • To monitor and prepare reports on facilities in the Institution for the management of degradable and non-degradable waste which includes, solid and liquid waste, biomedical waste, e-waste, hazardous chemicals and radioactive waste, and waste recycling system.
